The term ‘personal data’ is the entryway to application of the Data Protection Basic Regulation and is characterize in Art. 4 para. 1 no. 1. Personal data are all information which is related to an identified or identifiable natural person.

-
Those impacted are identifiable if they can be identified, especially using assignment to an identifier such as a name, an identifying number, location data, an online identifier or one of several special characteristics, which expresses the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, commercial, cultural or social identity of these natural persons. In practice, these also include all data which are or can be assigned to a person in any kind of way. For example, the telephone number, credit card or crew number of a person, account data, number plate, appearance and client number or address are all personal data.

-
Since the definition includes “all information,” one must assume that the term “personal data” should be as broadly interpreted as possible. This is also found in case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union. These include also less-clear information, such as recordings of work times which include information about the time when an employee do and ends his work day, as well as breaks or times which do not fall in work time. Also, written answers from a test-taker and any remarks from the test about these answers are “personal data” if the test-taker can be theoretically identified. The same also applies to IP addresses. If the processor has the legal option to oblige the provider to broadcast additional information which can identify the user who is behind the IP address, this is also personal data. In addition, one must note that personal data need not be objective.

DIY Or Hire A Photographer Or Videographer?DIY Or Hire A Photographer Or Videographer?

Should You Hire A Professional Photographer/Videographer Or Do-It-Yourself

These days, more and more people are starting to do things for themselves in order to save some cash. While avoiding a drained wallet definitely has its benefits, there are some situations where it’s best to hire a professional, especially when it comes to something like photography.

Believe it or not, snapping incredible images isn’t as simple as picking up a camera and randomly hitting the shutter button. There’s truly a lot that goes into it.

If you’ve been on the fence about whether or not you should hire a photographer, I think the following information will help you make up your mind:-

Enjoy The Special Events

First of all, hiring a photographer allows you to be a part of the event. When people do their own photography it’s next to impossible for them to be in any of the pictures. After all, they’re the one capturing all of them. As well, enjoying the event can be quite complicated since the person taking the pictures will spend a lot of time behind a lens.

Quality

Quality is another important thing to consider. Capturing the perfect image is the result of many different factors. For example, timing must be on point, the lighting has to be just right, and capturing the soul of a person through a lens is a special talent that most people without years of photography experience simply don’t have.

Aside from the convenience and quality that a professional can provide, it’s also important to think about the process that happens once the images have been captured. Most pictures taken by professional photographers go through post-processing. Cropping, retouching, proper exposure, and color correction are all important ingredients when it comes to images that almost feel alive.

Editing & Post Processing

On top of everything else, professionals often have gear that most of us would never even think about purchasing. Incredible pictures require incredible equipment. Unless you plan on pursuing a career in photography, the chances of you spending thousands of dollars on top-notch gear are low. High-quality lenses can cost hundreds on their own. Add in professional lighting, top of the line cameras, as well as expensive processing software and your jaw, will likely drop when the dollar signs begin to pile up.

Knowledge

The knowledge that most professionals have is also hard to compete with. Years of experience, as well as time spent in school, helps professionals master their images down to the smallest details. The perfect picture requires correct timing, posing in correct relation to a background, as well as the right facial expressions. Most of us are clueless when it comes to making all of these things fall together. However, a professional (-) will be able to guide you every step of the way with ease.

When it comes down to it, the choice is entirely yours. If you’re a person full of ambition that enjoys a good challenge, being your own photographer may be a good choice for you. However, if you would like to take the hassle out of creating lasting memories, alleviate yourself of a lot of stress and worry, and receive high-quality images that you can cherish for a lifetime, letting someone else do the work is likely the best way to go.

Albion Park airport is bustlingAlbion Park airport is bustling

The service operated from June 2005 to July 2008.

Illawarra Regional Airport is owned and operated by Shellharbour City Council.

Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba was aboard the first JetGo flight from Albion Park to Melbourne at 7am.

“The plane was well occupied and there were a lot of excited people,” Cr Saliba said. “It was a real mixture of people – some for business, some for pleasure, some visiting families. One or two of them were just taking it because it was the first flight and they wanted to be on it.”

Cr Saliba described it as “a really exciting day to actually see this come to fruition”.

“From council’s perspective, there was the issue of ‘is this going to be successful?’  There was some hesitation in going down that path if it wasn’t going to work.

“But for us to continue to be patient and work all through the issues to get to today will bring a lot of joy to a lot of people.”

JetGo was unveiled as the operator of the region’s new passenger airline services in early July.

Shellharbour City Council has worked to install a new temporary passenger terminal at the airport and upgrade existing infrastructure.

Cr Saliba said more than 3000 tickets had already been sold for flights out of Albion Park.

Jet Go are also considering other routes. They’ve talked about the Gold Coast and (going) to other areas.

There’s also an opportunity for us to take on other service providers, to come in and provide flights to other areas.
